WMS-Warehose Management Systems
A WMS (warehouse management system) is used to process, optimize, control, and track the movement and storage of materials within a warehouse including shipping, receiving, putaway, and picking.
Warehouse management systems utilize various AIDC technologies to improve the visibility and accuracy of product status. Data is transmitted to a central database through either batch synchronization or real-time via wireless transmission. The database can then provide useful reports about the status of goods in the warehouse to enable a seamless link to order processing and logistics management for the pick, pack and shipment of products from the facility.
