We at
McCombs-Wall, Inc. are proud to stand behind the workmanship and quality of our
Material Handling Systems.
The McCombs-Wall, Inc. warranty covers installation only. Our manufacturers’
warranties cover all materials. Please see their specific warranty included in
this section for pertinent information.

Limited Warranty
There are no
other warranties expressed or implied.
Installation Warranty Coverage
Our
warranty includes all components designed and installed by McCombs-Wall, Inc.
McCombs-Wall would like to assure you that your system will perform as
described, in our proposal. If you have any problems with installation please
notify us directly and we will make arrangements to correct the situation.
Excluded items
This
warranty does not cover systems, which have been damaged due to misuse, abuse,
or accident such as:
- Improper
or insufficient maintenance.
- Failure
to follow the operating instructions that are provided by McCombs-Wall, Inc.
- Improper
or unauthorized repair.
- Fire,
flood, “acts of God,” or other contingencies beyond the control of
McCombs-Wall, Inc.
This warranty does not
cover consequential damages (the cost of repairing or replacing other property
which is damaged when the system does not work properly), or loss of business.
The Period of
Coverage is
One year from acceptance of
system.
What we will do to
correct problems
Upon inspection of your system
McCombs-Wall will supervise any adjustments that may be required to your system
and correct any installation problems. We will order replacements for any
defective parts discovered and replace them upon their arrival.
What we will not do
Regular
Maintenance, as outlined in the Installation and Maintenance Manual is the
Owner’s responsibility. Cleaning Lubricating and replacing worn parts are some
of the normal maintenance services your new system requires. See the Manuals
included with this book for detailed instructions.
McCombs-Wall cannot
normally make changes to accommodate size or type of products other than what
was specified in the contract documents. Our system sales engineers will be
happy to provide a proposal to accommodate your changing business. |
Hytrol Conveyor
Warranty Information
Hytrol Conveyor Company, Inc. warrants that goods sold by Hytrol
and shipped on or after January 1, 2003 will be free from defects in
material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of
shipment. Hytrol's sole obligation under this warranty shall be to
repair or replace, at Hytrol's option, F.O.B. Jonesboro, Arkansas, any part
or goods proving defective within the terms and period of this warranty.
Buyer must provide Hytrol immediate written notice of the claimed defect,
including a description of the goods at the buyer's location. Buyer
shall bear responsibility for the cost of labor and other charges for
removal of defective part or goods and installation of the placement part or
goods.
Hytrol's obligation does not extend to
failure of damage due to abuse, neglect, accident, improper repair,
maintenance, installation or adjustment, exposure to corrosive or abrasive
material, operation under any degree of dampness, or alteration or
modification by persons other than Hytrol.
HYTROL MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHICH
EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF. HYTROL EXPRESSLY
DISCLAIMS THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE. Hytrol shall not be liable for failure of the goods to comply
with federal, state, or local laws, or for incidental or consequential
damages.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In the event of motor failure, please
contact the nearest authorized service center of the motor manufacturer.
The warranty on the motor may be voided if the motor is tampered with or
disassembled by anyone other than the authorized representative of the motor
manufacturer.
